"Act for Resource Recycling of Electrical and Electronic Equipment and Vehicles"

Overview

Like China RoHS there is a main Act with several supporting regulations proposed that will cover the details of Scope, banned substances, whether declaration or prohibition, limit values etc. The Main Act combines aspects of EU RoHS, WEEE and ELV Directives. To date the only document published is the Main Act, the other regulations are anticipated during 2007. The enforcement date stands at 1 January 2008. An English translation of the Act is available and RoHS-International will keep post other translations as and when they become available.
